My name is Alexander. I will be your driving instructor. My professional background is in Aircraft Engineering. I was originally working in this field in Europe and Canada. I also obtained my Class 1 Driving Qualification in Canada and drove an 18-wheeler across North America.
However, during my driving career of 30+ years, I always had a passion for teaching.
I completed a driving instructor training program in 2010 and started teaching students how to drive and proceeded to work part-time as a driving teacher for over 10 years.
I have experience working with people of all ages, nationalities and physical abilities. Also I was lucky to teach both of my teenage sons how to drive and all of us completed the tasks succesfuly. My main focus is to build up the student’s confidence with a professional and friendly approach. We will discuss driving-related topics and analyze traffic situations.
I want my students to have a deep understanding of the reasons behind the written rules, so that they are fully prepared for whatever they may encounter on the road, and will make the right move in any traffic situation. With skills like that, any road test will just be a piece of cake :-)
